Kitab Fathurrahman 13.pdf is a free book that can be downloaded from the Internet. It is the first edition of what would become one of the most influential books ever written, having been translated into over 23 languages. The author, Zahir al-Walihi, wrote this book in Arabic to be accessible by all people. It was written for Sunni Muslims who are interested in learning how to live their lives as good Muslims and as good neighbors and friends to those around them. This book is broad and covers ethical concepts such as justice, charity, and how to make mistakes with honesty and dignity instead of regretting them for years on end. The book also addresses social issues such as charity and the responsibility of the individual and society in regards to it, along with accurate and comprehensive information on how to pray and how to ensure that one's prayers are answered. This book is a guide for coping with life's daily struggles while also providing the reader with guidance from God. Zahir al-Walihi was a descendant of Sayyid Ahmad bin Ali al-Wahidi, a prominent scholar of Hadith during the Abbasid era. He was born in Basra in Iraq on March 3, 1892 while his father was living there at the time. His father suffered from a mental disability and did not recover until his grandfather was able to bring him back to Syria. The grandfather and father were both known for their skills in the Arabic language and Zahir inherited this gift from them. After he learned how to read and write, Zahir al-Walihi went on to the religious school of the Islamic Scholars in Damascus. He arrived there when he was 14 years old and studied Arabic grammar along with other Islamic disciplines such as Jurisprudence, Medicine, Theology, Qur'an Exegesis, Analogy of the Revealed Law (Qiyas) and Reasoning (Ibn al-hari). These studies prepared him to become a teacher as well as a scholar. After his studies there, Zahir al-Walihi taught Arabic grammar and Qur'anic recitation at the Zaytuna Mosque in Tunisia, where he encountered the Tunisian scholar, Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr as-Sakunawi. He was also a mentor to many other students during his time there and became known as "Shaykh Zahir" for his vast knowledge of Arabic grammar and eloquence. After spending ten years in Tunis, al-Walihi went back to Syria where he continued his studies until he received an ijazah (license) to teach. He became a teacher for many students who came from Syria, Egypt, and Palestine. While in Syria, Zahir also taught at the Al-Husayniyya School that was named after Hussein ibn Ali. He then went on to author the Kitab Fathurrahman 13 because of "the need for books that contribute toward disseminating valuable Islamic traditions and because of the spread of ignorance due to the absence of such valuable works. cfa1e77820
